Our People

Amanda W. Swor

Director of Land Use & Entitlements

Amanda combines an unmatched understanding of the City of Austin Code with a deep personal and professional commitment to making Austin and Central Texas a better place to live and work. As our Director of Entitlements & Policy, she represents owners and developers from the beginning to the end of the entitlement process, managing due diligence zoning, site development permit, subdivision, vested rights and variance request cases.

She provides assistance with City of Austin code interpretations and moving site development and subdivision permitting through the city process with a minimum of unexpected cost or delay. She also works with city staff, boards and commissions, the City Council, environmental groups and neighborhood associations as we guide various real estate projects to completion. These include:

  • Retail shopping centers
  • Mixed-use projects
  • Multi-family projects
  • Planned Unit Developments

Amanda and her team monitor policy changes and urban planning in the City of Austin and surrounding municipalities as part of our risk mitigation. Her combination of skills and experience, plus the relationships she’s built over the course of her career, strengthen our ability to manage your program or project, while helping to ensure cost-effective development.

When she’s not working, Amanda stays busy with her her husband, Trey, their children, Caleb and Avery, and her ongoing involvement with boards and non-profit organizations in the Austin area.
