Brandywine Pushes Ahead with $3B Mixed-Use Redevelopment Near the Domain

Brandywine Realty Trust has officially begun construction on Uptown ATX, a transformative $3 billion, 66-acre master-planned community in North Austin near The Domain and Q2 Stadium. The project will deliver 7 million square feet of office, residential, retail, and hospitality spaces, along with a new MetroRail station. Key initial developments include One Uptown, featuring office space, apartments, and retail; The Chase at Uptown, with 529 apartments; and Skyrise, two landmark office towers. Designed with green spaces, trails, and transit access, Uptown ATX aims to expand Austin’s “second downtown” and meet affordable housing requirements, with phased completion starting in 2023.
