Ed Theriot, AICP, is a Certified Planner with over 35 years of experience in civil and municipal projects throughout Central Texas. He specializes in guiding projects through the entitlement process and ensuring compliance with client and regulatory standards.

In addition to his role at Drenner Group, Ed serves as Commissioner for Precinct Three in Caldwell County, Texas. In this capacity, he oversees the County’s engineering, code enforcement, permitting, and Unit Road Departments and is actively involved in regional initiatives through the CAMPO Transportation Advisory Board and the Hays and Caldwell County Partnership Board and Infrastructure Committee.

At Drenner Group, Ed provides project management and development entitlement services for both public and private sector clients. His representative matters include:

• Entitlement and permitting for mid-rise and high-rise mixed-use developments
• Negotiating cost participation agreements for easement acquisition and utility extension
• Government liaison services for complex development projects
• Assisting landowners with municipal stormwater (MS4) compliance
• Land entitlement, development permitting, and related services
