Office Tower Could Rise on South Congress Ave. as Dense Development Heads South of Lady Bird Lake

Tishman Speyer Properties is considering redeveloping a 0.8-acre site at 311-315 S. Congress Ave. into a 330-foot office tower with 475,000 square feet of space, including retail. The project would join a wave of developments south of Lady Bird Lake, including Endeavor Real Estate Group’s redevelopment of the former Austin-American-Statesman site. Tishman, which entered the Austin market in 2021, is also involved in the co-development of the 58-story 321 West tower in downtown Austin.
