Apartments, Hotel, Shops Proposed Near Forthcoming Apple Campus in North Austin

Plans to transform the 7700 Parmer business park, next door to Apple’s $1 billion campus under construction, could bring significant changes to the area. Accesso Partners LLC is seeking to amend its development agreement with Austin to add 1,800 apartments, a 340-room hotel, and 80,000 square feet of retail to the 129-acre site. Currently home to nearly 1 million square feet of office space leased by major tech firms like Google, PayPal, and eBay, the property would see its surface parking lots redeveloped into a vibrant mixed-use hub. This move aligns with increasing demand for housing and amenities near Apple’s expanding footprint, which is expected to employ an additional 5,000 people upon completion. Accesso has also planned phased construction of 800,000 more square feet of office space to support the growing workforce in the area.
